Boring Holidays has the pedigree of Chrysalid Outdoor Learning Centres which operated 3 campsites at Junga and Dharamshala in Himachal and Kambre near Pune for 11 years. It stems from the success from its holiday product 'Chryaslid Green Getaways" which offered slow travel experiences to travellers.

Boring Holidays is a start-up by Vikas Bhasin who had earlier founded Chrysalid Outdoor Learning Centres.

Vikas is a seasoned travel industry professional with 30+ years of experience across various segments. Vikas firmly believes in the need for slow travel experiences.
