The summer season, from April to June, is relatively mild and ideal for escaping the heat of the plains. Temperatures range from a comfortable 20°C to 24°C, with nights being cooler. This is when the surrounding flora is in full bloom, making the landscapes particularly beautiful.
The monsoon arrives in July and lasts until September, bringing with it moderate to heavy rainfall. While some travelers prefer to avoid this season due to the possibility of landslides, others are drawn to the lush, misty mountains and refreshed greenery that the rain brings. Temperatures during this period hover around 20-23°C.
Winter, from December to February, is a different experience altogether. The weather turns crisp and cold, with temperatures dropping to as low as 0°C or even below. This is the season for heavy woollens and cozy evenings.
Escape the tourist bustle of Nainital and discover the peaceful haven of Vanantara Eco Retreat in Surya Gaon, Sattal.
